10 COOL CHARACTERS MISSING FROM MCU
The 10 Coolest Marvel characters missing from the MCU
1. Moon Knight

While working for mercernaries in Egypt, Marc Spector stumbles upon an ancient statue of the Egyptian Moon God Knoshu. Sensing good in Marc, Knoshu grants him lunar powers and a silver costume. Though Marc eventually lost these powers, he fights crime as Moon Knight, a highly skilled hero with gadgets and multiple personalities. The darker tone of the Moon Knight comics lend the character toward a gritty Netflix show as opposed to a movie.
2. Silver Surfer

Disney will soon have control of Fox's Marvel movie properties, including Fantastic Four and all related characters, the coolest of which is the Silver Surfer. Imbued with cosmic power by the world eater Galactus, Norrin Radd sacrificed his humanity to become the Silver Surfer. The Surfer is a lonely and philosophical hero, and his story would be a welcome addition to the expanding cosmic MCU.
3. Nova (Richard Rider)

You may remember the Nova Corps as the interstellar police force from "Guardians of the Galaxy" (their main planet Xandar is destroyed by Thanos offscreen in "Infinity War"). In the comics, members of the Nova Corp are superpowered, with super-strength, flight, and energy blasts. Their most famous member is Richard Rider, a young man from Earth chosen by the Nova Corp as their next hero. Combining the wit and humanity of Spider-Man with the cosmic policing of Green Lantern, Nova fights against cosmic threats like Annihlus and Thanos.
4. Namor

Born of an Atlantean mother and a human father, Namor is a powerful mutant who dominates land and sea. Though he helped Captain America fight the Nazis in World War II, Namor's headstrong and brash attitude leads him to clash with heroes and villains alike. Possessing superhuman durability, strength, and speed, Namor is capable of fighting toe to toe with the Hulk. The movie rights to Namor are unfortunately tied up in a legal battle, but we'd love to see him swim onto the big screen.
5. Spider-Woman

Jessica Drew's mother was involved in a freak accident involving lasers, spiders, and other comic book nonsense, leading poor baby Jessica to develop powers at birth. Jessica has proportional spider-like speed, agility, durability, and strength, in addition to flight and control of beams of energy known as venom blasts. Initially an agent of HYDRA before becoming a hero, Jessica is also a highly skilled assassin, detective, and secret agent. She deserves a superpowered spy thriller of her own, and Marvel has already proved they can make super spy movies work with the excellent "Captain America: Winter Soldier."
6. Taskmaster

As the world's most dangerous mercenary, Taskmaster has the ability to imitate any act he sees. For example, by watching videos of Hawkeye shoot arrows, he instantly gained the archer's bow skills. Having studied and mastered the fighting styles of various heroes, including Captain America, Spider-Man, and Daredevil, Taskmaster is a mixed bag of skills with no mercy, proving powerful enough to fight off the entire Avengers roster at once. Taskmaster would be a perfect on-screen foil to characters like Cap, Iron Man, or his longtime frenemy Deadpool.
7. Blade

The monster-slaying half-vampire Blade has been a fan favorite for decades due to his stylish weaponry, supernatural foes, and inner bloodlust. Given the immense popularity of the Wesley Snipes Blade movies, it's pretty surprising that he hasn't appeared in the MCU in any way.
8. Spider-Man 2099

Hailing from the dystopian cyberpunk future of 2099, Miguel O'Hara fights against oppressive megacorporations as the new Spider-Man. Miguel has most of Peter Parker's powers along with a high tech suit complete with talons, a glider, radar, and X-ray vision. Given the wide variety of settings we've seen in the MCU, a futuristic cyberpunk movie would be a nice change of pace.
9. Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan)

Arguably Marvel's most popular new hero in a decade, Kamala Khan was an ordinary New Jersey teenager who fangirled over superheroes. After gaining the ability to transform, stretch, and, in her own words, "embiggen" any part of her body, Kamala balances fighting crime with her teenaged troubles. Kamala is notably one of the first superheroes to be a Muslim woman, and her struggle between her secular friends and conservative family is one of the key points of the series.
10. Dr. Doom

As one of the most famous villains in comic history, Dr. Doom needs no introduction. Though he's been unfortunately butchered twice on the big screen, Doom is a complex and layered villain who'd fit perfectly in the MCU. A popular fan theory is that Doom will sieze control of Sokovia (the country decimated in the climactic battle of Age of Ultron), stoking anti-Avengers sentiment and transforming the country into Latveria.
