When Nebula (2023) comes to know that Thanos (2014) scanned her memories through nebula (2014) and now Thanos knows everything about his future. Why didn't she return back to 2023 immediately before being captured?

 I rewatched that particular scene again, to see if Nebulas’s Quantum travel device broke, or this was just for a forceful twist in the plot.

What I noticed is, When she was about to return, Both the Nebula’s got interconnected and Nebula(2014) had no control over her movements. She just sat there like a statue.

And so was Nebula(2023)… even she did not have any control over her body.

Yes, she was in pain. And after Nebula(2023) realizes that Thanos got all the information about his future, and she knows very well about his cruel father, that he could take any drastic measures to ensure that his plan is successful.

Now, that's the whole point, The reason she chose not to return is not lazy writing, The moment she realizes that Her father knows that she and her friends from the earth have traveled in the past. She runs towards the pod instead of returning Because she wanted to warn Barton and Romanoff immediately as their life could be in immense danger.

If Nebula had chosen to return back immediately, then Thanos would have probably sent dozens of minions to look for others who came with her.. and probably could have killed Romanoff and Barton. She wanted to save Barton and Romanoff.

But before she could alert, Thanos captured her.

(Spoilers for Loki) How does the Time Variance Authority have multiple sets of Infinity Stones?

  Because as evidenced by the Time Authority variants are appearing all the time. We saw the Time Variance Authority processing and sentencing Variants who could destroy the Sacred Timeline and send the universe into a multiverse war again. If a Loki Variant could steal one Tesseract (one infinity stone) then why couldn't other variant beings do the same thing? Evidently other variant beings did try to steal or use an infinity stone and they were captured and their infinity stone was probably taken from them. Even though Loki Variant took the Tesseract, it still exists in the time when Steve Rogers returned the stones. The copy of the Tesseract like other infinity stones I’m sure came to the Time Variance in similar fashion. So it would seem the Time Variance keeps such trinkets as paperweights. I hope that clears up any confusion!

If someone other than Tony Stark had to sacrifice their life with the "snap" which MCU character would you have chosen and why?

  Captain America. Because… His character’s arc had been well established and touched upon and both he and Tony had basically the same level of development. Tony’s suit helped him withstand the stones but Cap doesn’t have that. What he  does  have though is the super soldier serum, so the directors could get away with saying that that is how he would’ve been able to withstand the stones for a few seconds. He, Tony, and Thor were the original big three. We can’t choose Tony this time so that leaves Cap and Thor. Cap (like I said) has had a full arc throughout the movies and his purpose is becoming more of just a soldier figure who’s good at leadership. Thor on the other hand doesn’t know what he wants anymore since he’s given up being king, etc. Thor’s story isn’t finished whereas Cap doesn’t really have anywhere to go at this point (which is further evidenced by the directors making him old at the end of Endgame).
